INTRODUCTION

Crystal Mines of Lambhri, Himalayan Villages, 360 Degree View of Himalayan Ranges. Crystal World Trek means wandering through Deodar forests or deciduous woods where clematis entwines with roses and langur monkeys swing in the chestnut trees. Walking through villages whose fine dry stone and timber houses and carved temples have changed little for hundreds of years. An extremely enjoyable and easygoing trek through some of the finest lands cape in Himachal Pradesh Area. Lush green forests and meadows filled with abundance of flora and fauna, crystal mines , sparkling streams cascading down hillsides and magnificent snow clad mountains all around make this trek an unforgettable one.

HOW TO REACH MANALI

 The nearest airport serving this beautiful hill station is situated at Bhuntar. Known as Kullu Manali Airport, it is at a distance of approximately 50 km and 10 km from Manali and Kullu, respectively. Domestic airlines like Air India Regional and Jagson Airlines operate regular flights from Delhi, Chandigarh and Pathankot to Bhuntar. Once you reach the airport, you can hire prepaid taxis to reach Manali.

 Although you can reach Manali by air and train, if you truly like to enjoy the views as you travel, opt for the road instead since there are some spellbinding picturesque views en route to be enjoyed. The destination has a good connectivity by road with cities like Delhi, Ambala, Chandigarh and Shimla serving as pivotal points. A number of bus services including private services like the very comfortable Volvo ply frequently from Delhi to Manali. Besides, Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (HPTDC) also offers services from New Delhi to Manali and various other tourist places in Himachal Pradesh. The well-maintained national highways, NH 1 and NH 21, lead to Manali from Delhi.

 The closest railway station is Chandigarh (315 km) or Pathankot (290 km). You can make your travel bookings till either of these two cities and then take a prepaid bus or a cab till Manali. If you have not been able to book in advance, buses to Manali ply with regular frequency hence you could also make a spot booking. Both the railway stations are well connected with major Indian cities via extensive rail network.

Itinerary

 DAY 01 - DRIVE FROM MANALI, A PRIVATE VEHICLE WILL TAKE YOU TO JIBHI (1660M) IN BANJAR VALLEY (110 KMS / 4 HR. DRIVE). 

Reach your Homestay / camp at Jibhi. Check in, freshen up and enjoy a leisurely breakfast. Later, relax and rest up in the lap of nature in the cozy Himachali Homestay. After Lunch, Visit Waterfall.

 DAY 02 - DRIVE TO BAHU (2036 M) TO BACHOOT VILLAGE (3012 M) (TREK 5 TO 6 HOURS.)

Bahu to Bachoot (meadow) involves walk all along the ridge through dense forest of Pine. It offers beautiful view of the Valley towards south. On the way you will pass through huge Meadow of Trilok pur Garh which is full of wild flowers and butter flies in spring.

 DAY 03 - BACHOOT (3012M) TO RAGHUPUR PORT (3400M) VIA LAGISHAR TEMPLE (TREK 6 TO 7 HOURS.)

First climb of one hour through the forest and meadow to the Ragupur fort, Fort is in the ruins, a lovely place offering beautiful view of the Valley below and to the north lies mighty Himalayan Ranges of Kinnaur, Pirpanjhal Ranges & Dhauladhar Ranges.

  DAY 04 - RAGHUPUR PORT (3400M) TO SAREYOLSAR LAKE (3150 M) (TREK 5 TO 6 HOURS.)

Today we will have an easy walk down & Traverse to Lake. Rest of the walk is flat through the forest of Rhododendron and oak to 3223 Mts. High motor able Jalori Pass. Further flat walk of 5 Kms to the lake, Lake is situated amidst the forest and is of great religious importance to the local people, there is also a temple dedicated to Goddess Nagini.

(NOTE: In the Beginning of this Trail we will Cross the Motorable Road that will be 10 Minutes)

  DAY 05 - SAREYOLSAR LAKE TO LAMBHRI (3300M) VIA LAMBHRI TOP (3594M) (TREK 6 HOURS.)

Today’s we straddle over the ridge to Lambhri amidst beautiful mountain surroundings. Lambhri offers beautiful view of mountains to North East, Meadows crystal mines. There is also abundance of effective ayurvedic medicinal plants in the area.

 DAY 06 -  REST DAY OR EXPLORE LAMBHRI CRYSTAL MINES BEST PLACE FOR MOUNTAIN SUNSET & 360 DEGREE VIEW.

  DAY 07 - LAMBHRI TO JIBHI BY SAJWAR VILLAGE (2750M) 12 KM (6 HRS.) DRIVE BACK TO MANALI TRIP END 2 TO 3 HOURS DRIVE.

After breakfast we proceed to Sajwar Village. Today trail is descending part all the way; one can have a close glimpse of the Sajwar village local people culture and traditions. Finally our Jeep will pick us from this Village and will drive back.

What is included in the tour

  • The services of an educated Himalayan Yeti Adventure representative or escort / guide, well versed with native flora/fauna, topography & culture during the entire trek program.
  • On Twin Sharing One Night in Jibhi Home Stay on MAPAI Meal Plan.
  • During the trek, all camping logistics and mules / porters/ to carry luggage. Participants will be required to carry only their day sacks with their daily essentials etc.
  • Camping on twin sharing basis in 2-man tents, with foam mattresses, sleeping bags and kitchen tent, toilet tent etc. 
  • One Cook and camp helper/s with all necessary kitchen items, utensils etc.
  • All transportation as per the itinerary, inclusive of transfers to the roadhead before the trek and transfer from the roadhead to Manali, after the conclusion of the trek.
  • Boiled drinking water during the trek and warm water for personal ablutions in the morning.
  • All meals during the trek program.

What is NOT included in the tour

  • Any accidental, travel or medical insurance.  It is advisable for the participants to get themselves comprehensively insured before the tour.
  • Any expenses of a personal nature.
  • Any and all evacuation charges (medical or otherwise), or hospitalization or physicians consultation charges. Your own insurance policy should also, ideally, cover this.    
Things to Bring

Insulated, waterproof boots are best. They have thick soles, rubber/leather uppers and insulation. Flip Flops/ Crocs.

Wool or synthetic socks with wicking liners promote warm, dry feet. (this item is to be bought by the clients themselves)

Layer your clothing so it can be adjusted to your activity level and the weather. Avoid cotton.

Base layer: Synthetics and wool retain warmth even when wet. Wear long underwears (top and bottem) that wicks away moisture, insulates well and dries quickly. Choose from microlight, lightweight or midweight versions based on the temperature and your activity level. A zippered top lets you adjust body heat as you stop and go. (this item is to be bought by the clients themselves, easily available in Decathlon Stores)

Upper Insulating layer: Polyester fleece makes a good insulating mid-layer since it retains heat when wet and breathes as you exercise.

Outer layer: A waterproof, breathable shell jacket and pants keep you dry and fend off wind.

Down feather jacket: - Can be used while relaxing or walking outside in the camp area.

Hat, Gloves and Accessories.

 Keep your head and hands covered to prevent loss of body heat and to protect from sunburn.

A wool or synthetic hat, headband or balaclava retains heat; a wide-brimmed hat or a ball cap can shade your eyes on sunny days.

Sunglasses and sunscreen will protect you from burning UV rays which are especially intense when reflected off of snow.

COTTON SCARF good for dust and to protect neck from sunburn ,WATER BOTTLE, HYDRATION BAG.

Head Lamp & spare batteries.
