INTRODUCTION
We start this one day trek from Manali, which is located 1.5kms from Manali. You will walk through the thick and lush Deodar forests of Manali. As this is a moderate walk, it will be mostly uphill. We will stop for lunch on a lovely rocky ledge that provides a beautiful view of Manali and its surrounding peaks. Lama Dugh is a lovely meadow ringed by maple, spruce and oak trees, while strands of silver birch can be found further up on the hill-side.
