INTRODUCTION
Drive 4 kilometers for 20 minutes from Manali to reach the trailhead at Alyias Nallah, near Manjhach Village. The trek begins here and leads you to Mangankot, situated above Old Manali at an elevation of 3562 meters. Mangankot, a distinctive formation on the Old Manali Mountain, is clearly visible from the left bank of Manali.
As you hike, you'll pass through dense pine and deodar forests, offering breathtaking views of the valley and the snow-capped peaks of the Pir Panjal range. This trail provides a serene escape from the bustling tourist spots in Manali, allowing you to immerse yourself in the natural beauty and expansive vistas of the region.
