INTRODUCTION
Journey through an enchanting and timeless trail used by the legendary Gaddi Shepherds; this trek leads you through Alpine Lakes in the Himalayas plunges into the beautiful, lush meadows of Kullu Valley. Traversing the almost untouched mountain wilderness of the majestic Dhauladhar Ranges. From the Nillia Lake the easiest and safest route to Mt.Hanuman Tibba very few visitors find their way here. You must be prepared for adventure, but will be rewarded by views to treasure forever. There will be steep climbs or descends and short stretches of scree and snow. A beautiful and scenic point to have 360 degree view and most importantly you can see pir pinjal range and most of the surroundings Peaks.
HOW TO REACH MANALI
- The nearest airport serving this beautiful hill station is situated at Bhuntar. Known as Kullu Manali Airport, it is at a distance of approximately 60 from Manali.
- The road instead since there are some spellbinding picturesque views en route to be enjoyed. The destination has a good connectivity by road with cities like Delhi, Ambala, Chandigarh and Shimla serving as pivotal points. A number of bus services including private services like the very comfortable Volvo ply frequently from Delhi to Manali.
- The closest railway station is Chandigarh (315 km) or Pathankot (290 km). You can make your travel bookings till either of these two cities and then take a prepaid bus or a cab till Manali.
DAY 1- MANALI TO SHANGCHER TO MAILI THACH (3500m), 6 TO 7 HOURS HIKE.
Begin your journey with a drive to Shangcher village, where your trek starts. The trail initially zigzags through the village houses and then transitions into a path lined with bushes. As you continue, the trail leads you through dense forests, offering a serene and enchanting experience. The path eventually opens up to expansive meadows, and after several hours of trekking, you'll arrive at Maili Thach by evening. The breathtaking views from Maili Thach showcase the entire valley stretching along the Beas River. This trek serves as an excellent acclimatization hike, with your first campsite set up at Maili Thach

DAY 02 - MAILI THACH TO RANI SUI (3800m), 3 TO 4 HOURS HIKE.
Today's hike offers a blend of moderate gradients and steeper sections. The trail meanders through expansive meadows adorned with vibrant wildflowers, creating a breathtaking landscape. As you progress, you'll encounter a moraine ridge, where colossal boulders evoke a sense of prehistoric grandeur.
From this vantage point, enjoy stunning views of Manali on the left bank of the River Beas and the entire upper Kullu Valley, which displays a tapestry of seasonal colors. The destination, Rani Sui Lake, is a serene mountain tarn that offers panoramic views of the Pir Panjal and Dhauladhar Ranges, providing a perfect culmination to your hike.

DAY 03 - RANI SUI TO DOHRNI (3550m) VIA ODI PASS (4310m), 5 TO 6 HOURS HIKE.
Today's hike begins with a 3 to 4-hour gradual uphill trek along a mountain ridge until we reach Odi Pass. After crossing the pass, we will descend to Dohrni Nalla, which takes approximately 2 hours of steep downhill walking. Our campsite will be situated near the Manalsu River.This trail offers stunning scenery, including a 360-degree view of the surrounding landscape. Notably, you'll get to see the Pir Panjal Range and its majestic peaks. It's an excellent spot to rest and set up camp for the night. From the campsite, you'll have a breathtaking view of two prominent peaks: Mt. Deo Tibba and Indrasan in the Pir Panjal Range.

DAY 04 - DOHRNI TO SERI (3800m), 4 TO 5 HOURS HIKE.
Today's hike is an uphill trek along the banks of the Manalsu River. Early in the season, you may have the chance to walk across a snow bridge formed by avalanches. The route features stunning waterfalls and dramatic rocky landscapes that will take your breath away. Seri, our destination, is an ideal campsite surrounded by boulders, rock walls, and a valley of vibrant flowers. We will set up our base camp here and stay for two nights.

DAY 05 - SERI TO NILLIA LAKE (4330m) & BACK TO SERI, 6 TO 7 HOURS HIKE.
Embark on a 6 to 7-hour hike along the same trail you took uphill by the Manalsu River. Today’s journey will be adventurous, as you will need to cross glacial streams. After navigating the streams, you will traverse moraines until you reach the ridge where the lake becomes visible. At first sight, the glacial lake appears as a striking blue amongst the rocks. Explore several nearby lakes and enjoy a close-up view of Mt. Hanuman Tibba and the surrounding glaciers. Return to base camp in Seri by retracing your steps.

DAY 06 - SERI TO DOHRNI (3550m), 3 TO 4 HOURS HIKE.
Today, we embark on a relatively easy hike along the same scenic trail leading to Dohrni. The journey will take approximately 3 to 4 hours, offering a leisurely pace as we continue our exploration. Enjoy the beautiful landscapes and tranquil surroundings as we make our way to our destination at an elevation of 3550 meters.

DAY 07 - DOHRNI TO LAMADUGH (3317M), 7 TO 8 HOURS HIKE.
Today’s trek is a challenging ascent as we head uphill towards the Odi Pass. The entire journey is an uphill climb, offering breathtaking views, especially when the sky is clear. From the pass, you'll be rewarded with stunning vistas of Indrasan and Deo Tibba. As we continue, we'll traverse a steep ridge below Khanpari Tibba (4025m), which provides expansive views of Manali nestled on the left bank of the River Beas, as well as the entire upper Kullu Valley.The descent is a single trail that leads us all the way down to Lamadugh. Our campsite is situated on an alpine plateau, where the landscape is adorned with a rich growth of alpine flowers. This tranquil setting will be the perfect end to a day of strenuous hiking.

DAY 08 - LAMADUGH TO MANALI (2050M), 4 TO 5 HOURS HIKE.
Today’s hike will take us on a scenic descent through lush pine forests. We will steadily make our way downhill, enjoying the tranquil natural surroundings as we go. Once we reach the road, our transport will be waiting to pick us up and drive us to Manali. This journey will give us a chance to relax and reflect on our trek while we make our way to our next destination.

What is included in the tour
- The services of an educated Himalayan Yeti Adventure representative or escort / guide, well versed with native flora/fauna, topography & culture during the entire trek program.
- During the trek, all camping logistics and mules / porters/ to carry luggage. Participants will be required to carry only their day sacks with their daily essentials etc.
- Camping on twin sharing basis in 2-man tents, with foam mattresses, sleeping bags and kitchen tent, toilet tent etc.
- One Cook and camp helper/s with all necessary kitchen items, utensils etc.
- All transportation as per the itinerary, inclusive of transfers to the roadhead before the trek and transfer from the roadhead to Manali, after the conclusion of the trek.
- Boiled drinking water during the trek and warm water for personal ablutions in the morning.
- All meals during the trek program.
- Wildlife / environmental Permits and Levies, wherever required.
- All camping charges.

What is NOT included in the tour
- Any accidental, travel or medical insurance. It is advisable for the participants to get themselves comprehensively insured before the tour.
- Any expenses of a personal nature.
- Any and all evacuation charges (medical or otherwise), or hospitalization or physicians consultation charges. Your own insurance policy should also, ideally, cover this.
- . Insulated, waterproof boots are best. They have thick soles, rubber/leather uppers, and insulation.
- . Flip Flops/Crocs.
- . Wool or synthetic socks with wicking liners promote warm, dry feet. (this item is to be bought by the clients themselves)
- . Layer your clothing so it can be adjusted to your activity level and the weather. Avoid cotton.
- . Base layer: Synthetics and wool retain warmth even when wet. Wear long underwear (top and bottom) that wicks away moisture, insulates well, and dries quickly. Choose from microlight, lightweight, or midweight versions based on the temperature and your activity level. A zippered top lets you adjust body heat as you stop and go. (this item is to be bought by the clients themselves, easily available in Decathlon Stores)
- . Upper Insulating layer: Polyester fleece makes a good insulating mid-layer since it retains heat when wet and breathes as you exercise.
- . Outer layer: A waterproof, breathable shell jacket and pants keep you dry and fend off wind.
- . Down feather jacket: Can be used while relaxing or walking outside in the camp area.
- . Hat, Gloves, and Accessories: Keep your head and hands covered to prevent loss of body heat and to protect from sunburn.
- . A wool or synthetic hat, headband, or balaclava retains heat; a wide-brimmed hat or a ball cap can shade your eyes on sunny days.
- . Sunglasses and sunscreen will protect you from burning UV rays which are especially intense when reflected off of snow.
- . Cotton scarf: Good for dust and to protect neck from sunburn.
- . Water bottle and hydration bag.
- . Head lamp & spare batteries.
- . Camera dustproof cover and spare batteries and memory card; GoPro is just great.
- . Money belt or secure portion of bag.
